Achievement

  • Increase of IPs strength from 7,41,390 to 7,53,600 as on 31/03/2021.
  • Procurement and supply of medicine worth of Rs. 27.83 crores during the financial year 2021-22, which is 18.35% less than the previous year.
  • An amount Rs. 5,13,54,259/- has been paid to the Secondary Care Tie-Up Hospital towards cashless treatment of ESI beneficiaries for the financial year 2021-22, which is 41.36 % more than the previous year.
  • An amount of Rs. 6,42,35,269/- has been paid towards RCM to IPS/IWs claims during the financial year 2021-22.
  • An amount of Rs. 31.05 crores have been paid to the Super Speciality Hospitals towards treatment of ESI beneficiaries, which was borne by ESI Corporation.
  • A sum of Rs. 26,96,95,310/- has been expended towards Purchase of Medicine, Drugs & Dressing, X-ray, Lab Technician, Chemicals etc. during the current financial year 2021-22.
  • Up-gradation of dispensaries at Balasore, Berhampur and Paradeep to 30 bedded ESI Hospital is under consideration.
  • Up-gradation of dispensary at Jharsuguda to 100 bedded ESI Hospital is under consideration.
  • OPSC has recommended 65 suitable Doctors for their posting in ESI Scheme, Odisha, during the year 2020-21. 39 Nos. of Doctors have joined in ESI Scheme, Odisha.
  • Further, requisition has been filed with OPSC for recruitment of 85 Nos. of IMOS. OPSC has published result of 55 Nos. successful doctors on 12/04/2022.
  • Counselling for appointment of 57 Paramedical staff has already been completed. Appointment orders shall be issued soon.
  • An agency has since been selected through tender process to provide manpower on outsource mode for Group-D post i.e. Attender, Sweeper, Mali, Stretcher bearer, Dhobi and Group-C i.c Driver & Data Entry Operator.
  • DPC conducted for promotion of IMOS, Paramedical & ministerial staff.
  • Selection of a new site for 100 bedded ESI Hospital at Duburi has been completed and leasing out of the land is pending with District Administration, Jajpur / ESI Corporation.
  • Funds have been placed to OCAC for the purpose of development & implementation of Web based application for integrated inventory management system and automation for the process of RCM claims. This shall be launched shortly.
